Design Data Management

With businesses moving to the cloud, data security has also been a primary concern for business owners. CloudBLM has made sure that the platform can be hosted on either a private cloud or as an on-premise setup which makes the platform more secure and scalable. CloudBLM finds the perfect balance between the agility of cloud and the stability of an on-premises platform so as to keep the data secured.

    Key Modules
  • On Premises Platform
  • Cloud Platform
  • Hybrid Platform

Flexible hosting options (Cloud, On-Premise, Hybrid)
with the highest data security, compliant with ISO 27001.
Key Features

3D Viewable

Tight data security in the hands of the organization with the ability to customize application modules by preference.

Project Hierarchy

This hybrid setup facilitates enterprises to run some workloads and applications on-premises while utilizing the cloud for other workloads keeping the data secure and free-flowing.

Project Hierarchy

With improved security, SSO integration simplifies login and centralizes administration related activities

Role Assignment

More accessible for SMEs— through cloud platforms which enables greater stability with minimal infrastructure involved.

On-Premise Setup

Design Data Management

With businesses moving to the cloud, data security has also been a primary concern for business owners. CloudBLM has made sure that the platform can be hosted on either a private cloud or as an on-premise setup which makes the platform more secure and scalable.

    Key Modules
  • Secure data storage and management
  • Central repository for all project data and documents
  • Option to integrate with custom SSO for centralized admin control

Private Cloud

Hosting Options

  • On Premises Platform - Tight data security in the hands of the organization with the ability to customize application modules by preference.
  • Cloud Platform - More accessible for SMEs— through cloud platforms which enables greater stability with minimal infrastructure involved
  • Hybrid Platform  - This hybrid setup facilitates enterprises to run some workloads and applications on-premises while utilizing the cloud for other workloads keeping the data secure and free flowing.

Secured Shared Cloud

Design Data Management

CloudBLM can be hosted on highly secured FedRAMP approved cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure so that every organization's data is partitioned and owned/managed by themselves for the highest security, while the cloud infrastructure in hosted and managed by the CloudBLM team. This reduces the organization's responsibility and cost of hosting and maintaining a Cloud platform while also ensuring that their data is partitioned and securely stored allowing all the users to collaborate on the real-time data from anywhere through a single source of truth.

Hybrid Hosting Setup

CloudBLM is a flexible platform that can be hosted in multiple ways, either on-premise or on a cloud. CloudBLM can also be hosted in a hybrid setup where the main data storage happens on-premise and selected data can be shared with other users using the cloud for design collaboration. This ensures all the advantages of the on-premise setup in terms of data security and ease of data management while also providing the flexibility to scale up and collaborate with external users.

FAQ

Who creates a Project?
A Project is created by a Business Unit Admin who will assign a User as Project Admin. The Project Admin governs th2e entire project.

Who creates a Sub Project?
Sub Project is created by a Project Admin. A Project Admin can create as many Sub Projects as required. Sub project is a logical partition of the project, since a project will have multiple consultants for different disciplines (Arch/Struc/MEP/Landscaping etc.).

What are the Key features of Project and Sub Project Management?
The key features of Project and Sub Project Management are Planning, tracking and analysing model and other data information to improve productivity in the world of Building Lifecycle Management.

What is the benefit of publishing the design data to CloudBLM?
The true value of BIM can only be realized when it is taken beyond the design team – to subcontractors, the owner and facility manager. Providing access to the model and allowing them to contribute and link other information would increase the transparency and will help the field engineers from last minute design related hassles and confusions.
What type of models can I convert?
Any model type such as Furniture, Lighting, HVAC, MEP Elements, Structural or Architectural components can be converted.

What file types are supported?
Currently, all Revit Family (.rfa) and project (.rvt) files are supported.

Will the properties and hierarchy be transferred?
You can export including the part properties, colors as well as all geometries. There will be no loss in any meta data. The hierarchy will be maintained.

What information can I publish from Native Software to CloudBLM?
While publishing the model to a project, the entire project information gets transported to the CloudBLM platform which consists of viewables and element information.
