Largescale Construction Projects involve various documentation activities across different phases of its Building Lifecycle Management process. Organizing and maintaining these documents is tiresome work that involves lots of hassles and project threatening challenges such as key documents getting lost, outdated data, the privacy of your confidential documents, failing to find the right documents when needed, unorganized mail trails to share documents, loss of productivity and many more. This is where the need for Common Data Environment becomes crucial.
A central repository for the construction team to store, maintain, control, and share all information about the project. Within the Common Data Environment of CloudBLM, data such as Architecture Models, Drawings, Assets, and Documents are stored and acts as a single source of information for the project.
Document Management acts as a central repository for all the project related documents which will enable the users to create, maintain and modify all Construction Project related documents in CloudBLM which can be accessed from anywhere and anytime
Models published from the Native Software are stored, where they are organized based on projects, sub-projects, and the parent models
Drawing Management is a repository to upload and stores 2D Drawings generated from design software like Revit and allows them to be viewed as PDF documents
Design Data Management is a tailor-made solution for all your cross-functional construction activity needs. With the CloudBLM Project Management solution, the organizations can create multiple sub-layers of projects within a Global project or the main project which envisions to diversify the goals of all the sub-projects, yet align to the overall construction goal of the Global Project. Publish Assets from Revit to CloudBLM which can be exclusively used for your projects.
Plan, track and analyze model information to improve productivity
Help your team stay organized during the entire project lifecycle. CloudBLM enables users to save efforts throughout the process and gain full visibility into the construction projects with all project information in one place. Flexibility/ Integrations/ Cross Platform
Projects created hierarchically enables virtual grouping of huge projects which gets aligned with the project's critical path which makes it a lot easier in delegating responsibilities
Users can be added to a role, which defines the access levels of the user within the respective project
While publishing the model to a project, the entire project information gets transported to the CloudBLM platform which consists of graphical and non-graphical information
Now publish models across various BIM software platforms such as Revit, Sketchup, Rhino, Tekla, Inventor, and Solidworks
Visualize 3D models published from various apps of the selected project with the 3D Web viewer.
Maintain and control all the assets related to the project gathered from design data within the model
A Project is created by a Business Unit Admin who will assign a User as Project Admin. The Project Admin governs th2e entire project.
Sub Project is created by a Project Admin. A Project Admin can create as many Sub Projects as required. Sub project is a logical partition of the project, since a project will have multiple consultants for different disciplines (Arch/Struc/MEP/Landscaping etc.).
The key features of Project and Sub Project Management are Planning, tracking and analysing model and other data information to improve productivity in the world of Building Lifecycle Management.
While publishing the model to a project, the entire project information gets transported to the CloudBLM platform which consists of viewables and element information.
Any model type such as Furniture, Lighting, HVAC, MEP Elements, Structural or Architectural components can be converted.
Currently, all Revit Family (.rfa) and project (.rvt) files are supported.
